Jeffrey T. Kessler, M.D.

Founder Neurological Associates of Long Island (1976), Dr. Jeffrey Kessler practices general neurology, with subspecialties in Movement Disorders, Facial Pain, and Alzheimer’s Disease. He is an attending physician at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, NY; St. Francis Hospital in Roslyn, NY; and Long Island Jewish Hospital, in New Hyde Park, NY.

Dr. Kessler received his medical training at Cornell University, Medical College in New York City, and trained exclusively at New York Hospital, Cornell Medical Center in New York, NY. At Cornell Medical center he completed an Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine and Residency in Neurology where he held the position of Chief Resident. Dr. Kessler then became Assistant Professor of Neurology and Director of Resident Training at the New Jersey Medical School in Newark, NJ. He is a Clinical Associate Professor at both Cornell University Medical College in New York, NY, as well as New York University Medical College.

In addition to his practice experience, Dr. Kessler has served as a consultant to the Manhasset Division, Long Island Jewish Hospital in Manhasset, NY; St. Michael’s Hospital in Newark, NJ; and United Hospital in Newark, NJ. He was also Staff Neurologist at both East Orange VA Hospital in East Orange, NJ, and Martland Hospital in Newark, NJ. Dr. Kessler served as the President of the Medical Staff of North Shore University Hospital and served on the Peer Review Board of St Francis Hospital.

His work has been published in numerous journals, including Annals of Internal Medicine, Journal of Neurology, Neurosurgery and Psychiatry, Journal of Clinical Psychiatry, and a chapter in the publication Management of Facial Head and Neck Pain.
